The Last Lazy Days of Summer

are upon us. Wow, I cannot believe that in just over 2 weeks fall will start. 2010 is flying by!

Every year I swear I am going to get so much accomplished. I set those plans and goals for myself and always start out with the best intentions. Usually around this time I always feel bad because I didn't follow through. But this year, I am proud of myself. I have kept up on my blog and I am writing short stories and even spending time writing on my book. So this year I feel I am doing good!

But if you are looking back and seeing that you haven't accomplished what you wanted to, there is still time. Even if you don't finish, you can feel good that you got started and carry on that momentum through next year.

I am proud of myself for having said something and I am actually doing it. It is a good feeling and I'd love for everyone to feel this. Pride in oneself is good. Being prideful isn't, there is a difference. Patting yourself on the back is a great feeling, but if you break your arm doing it, you're probably a bit prideful.

So as we all look back at this past summer I hope you all have some super great memories to take into the winter with you. For those of you in the northern climes, I have pity on you. Been there, done that, that is why I am in Las Vegas now. No -17 as a temp.

Time for fall activities, if we were squirrels we'd be packing away nuts, but since we aren't squirrels now is the time to make your fall and winter list, things to accomplish now that the weather is about to change. So, its a good time to make the changes you want to make.
