Gravitational Pull

You ask, what does gravitational pull have to do with self-empowerment? Well, you will be amazed to find out - a great deal.

Today I went to a Spiritual Awakening lecture at the Green Valley Library. Andrea of the
Psychic Eye was the presenter. It was so very interesting and covered many, many points. Too many to cover in this post. The way she sees things is very different than anyone I've ever met. She puts science with the spiritual and to my utter amazement, she was - as far as I felt - dead on. I don't know if she has a book, but she works at the Psychic Eye on Russell Road if you'd like to find her.

One point really stood out to me and at first I wasn't sure about it but the more I think of it, the more it makes sense. That is "we have our own gravitational pull' like the Sun and the planets around it. It is a proven fact that the planets are being pulled into the Sun. It won't happen for billions of years, but it is happening.

We each are our own sun. The people, places and things in our lives are the planets that we are pulling to us. Things are falling into us with each thought, movement, and action. And I feel that we are in control, should we choose to be, of what we pull toward ourselves. It could be good or bad. It will probably end up being a mixture of both, but I know that in my gravitational pull I want more positive than negative and that is up to each individual.

Some people think that our destiny is predestined, that no matter what, we can't change it. That is so far from the truth. If we are on a path and we look ahead and we see nothing but heartache and negativity, how foolish would we be to not do something to change it. That when a fork in the road comes up we take it. Again, it is up to us. If we put forth positive and act in the positive and trust in the positive we will bring the positive, the good, into our gravitational pull. So instead of the planets of hate, jealousy, anger, sadness, depression, lets pull in joy, happiness, peace, sunshine, friendship.

The decision to do so is your own, but you don't have to do it by yourself. There are many people that are walking the path we want to. Chances are they didn't start off with all sunshine and roses, they too had issues that needed to be worked out for them to start to flourish.

When you see someone with the qualities that you want in your life, ask them how they brought those qualities to their life. Most people who are taking a good path will probably be more than willing to lend a helping hand.

A lot of what I learned today is that it is up to me. How I want my life is up to the choices I make, the people I allow into my circle, the strength that is within me and how willing I am to fight for what is good and true to me.

My path is different from yours in many ways, but how to get to our desired destination is very similar. Take the time to be kind to yourself and realize that you are so worth the effort. And I can tell you from my experience, it does get easier.
